Michele and I are Canadians - married for 35 years. Recently we retired to St. Petersburg FLA after visiting the area many times with our families growing up. This is our second home, and we have opened it up to seasonal rentals so that others may come know and enjoy the area as much as our family does! Kevin & Michele
About Our Waterfront Home
Location & Amenities
Our home is located 20 mins from both Tampa (TPA) and Clearwater/St. Petersburg (PIE) international airports, and has been recently renovated to be the perfect family home and seasonal vacation rental. Some of our previous rentals have included families who have relocated from the north to the St. Petersburg and Tampa area, or renovating their own home locally and needing a family home to reside in close by during construction. We are a five minute drive to downtown St. Petersburg, and a 20 minute drive to the beach. The home is a bungalow and has three bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The recently landscaped backyard is on a canal that leads to Weeden Island Preserve, and into Tampa Bay. Our saltwater pool that has been recently updated, and there is comfy outdoor seating around the pool and there is a large deck and also a dock on the canal . An abundance of nature - such as birds, fish, manatees and dolphins inhabit our yard and in the canal behind our home.
Amenities
Our home has wifi, home theater, and Dish TV service.
There is a large 55" tv in the main room, and smaller ones in all of the bedrooms. There are also outdoor speakers
connected to the home theater. We have a two person kayak,
and four adult bicycles available to be used by our guests.
In the attached garage, you will find a new washer and dryer
pair for your use during your stay. We love dogs, and our home is dog friendly, with a fully fenced backyard. (Sorry, no cats)
Rates
Rates for our Seasonal Rental depend on the time of year, and length of rental. There is a four week minimum. More favourable rates are available for longer rentals. A deposit and a cleaning fee will be required.
Things to do in St. Petersburg, Florida
Local sights and sounds. Salvadore Dali Museum, Port of St. Petersburg, First Friday street event (monthly),
and awesome gulf seafood and beaches. Local sports include Tampa Bay Lightning (NHL hockey) Tampa Bay Rays (ML baseball) + a number of MLB teams for Spring Training, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (NFL) Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, and many concert venues for live music in and around town. Disney is an easy highway drive of less than 1hr and a half. A fishing pier is located nearby on the Sunshine Skyway (Highway #275) just south of town, where you will also find a great windsurfing and kiteboarding beach.
